Background:The home was built in the late 1940s. The house is small: 994sq feet, it has three bedrooms plus a mud room. It also has a large back yard with a two-car garage. The Home is located not far from Mt. Ever Rest Cemetery.
CLAIMS OF PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: The client was hearing footsteps in the attic, which was very odd because the attic doesn't have floor boards; just beams and no solid like a floor. The wife would get woken up in the middle of the night by a shadow standing on her side of the bed and shaking the mattress. The husband went into the attic to get the cat (somehow it got up there) and on his way down the ladder he felt a burning sensation on his stomach. He looked down and he had 3 scratches. It wasn't the cat that scratched him - our investigators saw the picture (which hasn't been forwarded to us by the client yet). His stomach had an odd circle shape that progressed to 3 scratches.
Footsteps were heard up here even though there is no flooring.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCES & OBSERVATIONS: On a pre-investigation, the client told us that they heard footsteps coming from the attic. While MCGH were at the home we did hear the footsteps coming from the attic a few times.
While in the attic, some EMF spikes were recorded. The spike would go from 2.6 to 3.1; otherwise, the EMF was an even 0. Niether Jason nor Katie could find any electrical wiring below the insulation or around the door. At one point Katie heard something in her ear similar to a clearing of the throat or a hum.
The spare bedroom registered a solid 2 on the k-ll meter. There was a question asked about a past owner killing himself, and the EMF detector spiked up to 2.1-4.0. The room felt chilly after asking the question about the past owner.
While in the Master bedroom, Katie laid a k-ll meter facing the empty side of the bed. She asked if anyone would like to sit next to her, and the meter spiked to orange and went back down.
EVP RECORDINGS:These were caught in the Master Bedroom of the home. Jason and Katie were present in the room.
We hesitated to use a couple of these EVPs because it sounds like an entity may have used some vulgar language. We really don't want to offend anyone, and the EVPs to the right may be offensive to some people (that's if they even say what we think they are saying)

CONCLUSION: Based on the EVP recordings, there does seem to be something going on. We smudged the home and suggested the client verbally reclaim theri home.
