Investigation Timeline & Report
Arrival time was at 11:00 p.m. on the night of October 8, 2011. Baseline temperature and EMF (Electromagnetic Frequency) readings were taken. Investigators Scott and John began to set up the equipment while fellow investigator Ryan walked through the house and conducted a moving EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) session with one of the residents.
At about 12:00 a.m. everyone gathered in the living room for an EVP session. We chose to use the Ovilus as a tool to try and guide some of the questions.
We then introduced dowsing rods into the communication session. Dosing rods, for the purpose of paranormal investigations are used to locate energy and allow that energy to answer questions by moving the rods in different direction to signify a response. Typically dowsing rods are used in yes and no questions. When the rods cross that signifies a the rods will cross to signify a ‘yes’ answer and will separate to signify a ‘no’, however this may be reversed depending on the holder.
Throughout the night relevant responses obtained through the Ovilus corresponded with responses we were receiving from the dowsing rods.
Also it is interesting to note that around 1:00 a.m. the motion sensor which we had set up in front of the closet went off. There was no one nearby it and it is unclear at this time exactly what it was that set it off.
We obtained strong hits from an unknown source on the K-2 Meter for a two minute interval, commencing at 11:10 p.m. and ending at 11:12 p.m.
There were also two personal experiences by our investigators that night. Ryan’s hands began shaking at one point during the dowsing rod session and John reported seeing a shadow move from left to right across the room.
While there were some interesting responses with the dowsing rods as well as the Ovilus, our only concrete evidence in this investigation is in the form of EVPs.
After careful review of all video, audio and photographs taken it is the belief of our team that there is paranormal activity at this location. We do not feel that there is anything threatening in this location and instead believe that spirit whose presence is being sensed and experienced is that of a young girl who poses absolutely no harm to the family.
